Mr. Athanasios Raptis is the C.E.O. of Greek Yellow Pages a member of Star Investments one of the leading Mass Media and Technology Groups in Greece, controlling a TV station (STAR Channel), Radio Stations (Dromos FM, Diesi FM), the Greek Yellow Pages, etc.
He joined Greek Yellow Pages in 2010 initially as Area Manager North Greece and very quickly promoted to Deputy Sales Director, Sales Director and finally CEO in September of 2017.
From 2005 to 2010 he was the Sales & Marketing Director of HELEXPO, the Hellenic Organization of International Trade Fairs, Exhibitions Congresses and Events. From 2003 to 2005 he was the Marketing Director of Sarah Lawrence. Before 2003, he was Sales Manager South Greece for LogicDIS a software technology company and Product Manager for ELGEKA operating in the food sector.
Mr. Raptis has a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Polytechnic School, an MBA degree from University of Kent at Canterbury, Kent Business School and a M.Sc. degree in Marketing and Communication (Graduated with Distinction) from Athens University of Economics and Business (A.U.E.B.)
He was member of the National Track & Field Team (Decathlon) and serves as member to various business associations and chambers.
He is married with two children. In his free time, he is engaged in sports (Track & Field, Running, Skiing), reading and travelling.
